Annapolis Engagement Session :: Rachel + Michael :: with Jade

“Michael and I met two years ago at the Naval Academy. He was a midshipman there and I was an Army ROTC Cadet at the University of Maryland. Our first real date was in Annapolis at a ball at the St. Johns College campus and even then we knew we were right for each other. Two years later, we chose to do our engagement photos there! Michael commissioned into the Marine Corps and went down to Pensacola for flight school while I finished my last year in school. When visited him over spring break, we were walking by the water front watching the dolphins jump out of the water when he got down on one knee!

So far in our relationship, we have spent more time apart than together due to the military as he is stationed in Texas and I will be stationed in Washington. Our wedding next May will be one of the few times in the next four years that we will be together, but just knowing that he will be my husband is good enough for now and it makes every time I see him even sweeter!” -Rachel
