Apple Hill Farm Engagement Shoot in Concord, NH :: Kelly + Jeremiah :: With Caroline

Kelly + Jeremiah met when they were only in third grade! Kelly said that she “tried to woo him by wearing athletic clothes and playing soccer at recess,” even though she couldn’t quite get his attention in elementary school, they remained friends and eventually started dating their senior year of high school! Even though they became long-distance throughout college they kept their relationship strong through frequent visits and lots of love and support.

These two are so excited to be engaged and their session around Apple Hill Farm really shows this! This locations is extra special for them because they both grew up in Concord and so the farm is a place that holds sentimental value to them!

We recently talked to Kelly to ask her more about their relationship and plans for the future…

Q: Is there a moment in your dating history that stands out above the rest?

A: “The moment he asked me to marry him. Although we had talked about making that commitment, I was so surprised and excited!”

Q: What did you love most about your engagement shoot?  Your photographer?

A: “We loved going back to our hometown and shooting at a place that holds so many memories for us from growing up! Our photographer was amazing! Once the nervous jitters were out of our system, we were laughing and having fun! We are excited to see the final results!”

Q: What are you most looking forward to about your wedding?

A: “Marrying each other! It has been ten years in the making!”

Q: Any tips for other engaged brides who are hiring their vendors or starting the planning process?

A: “I would look into recommended vendors that the venue provides! Make a spread sheet of costs, services etc. to compare the vendors and pick top 3-5 to visit! Surprisingly, venues that I thought I would love, I ended up not liking as much in person. On the flip side, it’s unrealistic to visit 10-20 venues! I also asked my friends who recently were married about their vendors and experiences! The knot has also been a very helpful site for checklists and vendors and scheduling appointments!”
