Athens, GA Classic Center Wedding :: Lindsay + James :: with Alex

Lindsay + James’s wedding at the Classic Center in the Classic City was so… well, classic!  With just the right amount of modern flair.  The Athens Hotel Indigo was the perfect location to get ready – from that classic but oh-so-whimsical baby grand piano to the floor-to-ceiling windows with all that natural light – and we love that these two got to ring the bell on University of Georgia’s north campus after they tied the knot!

We caught up with Lindsay to see what her favorite moments were on their best day ever…

Tell us about your wedding day… how did it feel to see all of your planning come together?
Our wedding day was absolutely perfect.  The weather turned around just in time and turned from rainy when the ceremony started to bright and sunny by the time the ceremony was over. We smiled so hard all day long that our faces hurt. We would not change a single thing about the day.

Is there a moment that you remember above the rest?
One of the most special moments of the wedding day was when we saw each other for the first time as I was walking down the aisle. We were both overcome with happiness and emotions. Knowing that we were about to join in the sacrament of marriage brought on so much joyful anticipation.

What did you love most about your photographer?
Alex was wonderful to work with for both our engagement photos and for our wedding day. He is very artistic and always has creative shots in mind.

What did it feel like to finally be married?
It feels wonderful! We feel complete, like our other half is finally filled. We are thrilled to spend the rest of our lives together.
