Atlanta Engagement Session :: Bertille + Brian :: with Viki

“I’d like to say that I think our “story” isn’t anything out of the ordinary, but the initial attraction and love we feel towards each other everyday is. We met at a friend’s housewarming party in April 2016 and locked eyes but neither of us spoke to each other. We both went our separate ways and about one year later we ran into each other again. We had both gone through some significant changes since we first met and we connected via social media through a picture of a rosary he posted. Our religion has been one of the strong magnets we had towards each other and it is a glue that keeps us together. We started dating and a little over a year later Brian asked me to marry him after seeing one of my favorite musicians, Chris Thile, at the Fox. We truly believe that God works in mysterious ways and that our path towards each other needed to be cleared for our journey to begin. To be honest, our “ yes” came long before the proposal. It was each and every day after our first date that when we said “yes” to God we said “yes” to each other and we hope to build on that foundation for years to come.”
