Michele and Kirby met in the summer of 2013 in Tallahassee, FL.
The night they met they also discovered, by way of a chance encounter, that they had a number of mutual friends. They had seemingly missed each other at various events including the wedding of Michele’s sorority big sister to Kirby’s prior roommate. It seemed obvious after they met, that they should spend time together- and they did.
Four years of vacations, graduations, job-changes, and promotions later Kirby decided the time was right and asked Michele to marry him while on vacation in Valencia, Spain where Michele spent six weeks studying abroad while attending Florida State University.
