Amanda + Jonathan’s engagement session around Piedmont Park was full of so much joy and love! These two are so giddy around each other, and they could not control how excited they are to be engaged! Their fall themed engagement shoot turned out absolutely stunning, plus we always love it when couples incorporate their sweet pups in their photos!
We talked to Amanda after the shoot to ask her more about their relationship and what their plans for the future are!
Q: How did you and your partner meet?
A: “We met through mutual college friends in Atlanta! Jonathan was hosting his annual Oyster Fest “Pregame” Party (complete with a silly hat contest and photo booth) and I was invited.”
Q: Is there a moment in your dating history that stands out above the rest?
A: “Getting the travel bug and never looking back. We first traveled to Thailand together after a year of dating and haven’t stopped traveling since! He’s the best travel buddy and keeps me adventurous. We’ve visited 10 different countries together since we started dating almost 3 years ago.”
Q: What did you love most about your engagement shoot? Your photographer?
A: “We loved exploring Piedmont Park and taking time to enjoy each other’s company. A good excuse to take it all in for an hour and a half! Debbie was amazing and really made our session wonderful. She was calm and easy to talk to. She seems to have a passion for what she does!”
Q: What are you most looking forward to about your wedding?
A: “Reciting our vows in front of friends and family.. and then dancing with them all to celebrate!”
Q: Any tips for other engaged brides who are hiring their vendors or starting the planning process?
A: “Start asking questions! Get input from vendors on who else they’ve loved working with and go from there. It’s nice to have a team of vendors that knows one another – geared up and ready to make your big day amazing!”
