Christian + Joseph’s wedding at Park Tavern is giving us all the feels! Everything about this day was absolutely beautiful; the location, the flowers, the reception details, and the pure joy that this couple radiated was simply ideal! Even by just looking at their pictures we can feel how present love was throughout this entire day!
We are absolutely in awe of how wonderful this celebration was, but we wanted to hear how Christian + Joseph described their special day…
Q: Tell us about your wedding! How would you describe the overall vibe/feeling of your day? Anything special that you planned and couldn’t wait to see come together?
A: “The vibe we were going for was a sophisticated yet fun garden wedding. The Garden Tent at Park Tavern was the perfect location. We worked with Courtney Guthrie from Peachy Keen Planners on decor and she did an amazing job making our vision come to life. There were tons of flowers, greenery and candles. It was perfect.”
Q: Is there a moment that stands out above the rest, now that you’ve been married for a few weeks?
A: “Joe’s dad was unable to make it down to Atlanta for the wedding but we were able to include him in the day. The staff at Yale University’s Smilow Cancer Center created a wedding celebration for him and several guests. We were able to livestream the wedding ceremony and reception so that he was able to watch everything on a big screen. The hospital’s head chef created a menu to match the one that we had at the reception. It was really amazing!! We were upset that he wasn’t going to be able to make it but he was able to be a part of our day!”
Q: What’s your favorite thing that you decided to include?
A: “My mom married us which meant a lot to us. It was her first wedding and she did an awesome job.”
Q:What did you love most about working with OLAS?
A: “Working with Jen was the best. Lindsey, her assistant, at was awesome as well. They were professional and so much fun to work with. Jen has a great photography style and really captured some great moments that day. We had a lot of fun taking photos.”
