“I think what surprised us both was how calm we were on the day. Of course there were a few things that didn’t go to plan, but Andrew and I were just so excited to get married that nothing fazed us. We would re-live our first look. It was so special to see each other privately (minus the photographers of course!) before the ceremony. I was so nervous and immediately burst into tears, but I also couldn’t stop smiling. We love that we included a donuts in addition to the cake. At one point my small nephew stuffed two massive donuts in his mouth and he just had a massive smile. The cigar bar was a massive hit among the guys. We also loved the mint juleps as our signature cocktail since that was our go to drink when we started dating.”
