How would you describe the overall vibe/feeling of your day? It was amazing to be surrounded by so many people we love. Every once in a while we had to remember to step back and take it all in. We wanted the entire weekend to feel like “us”… down to the details. With the help of Ellen Thomas, our wedding planner, everything came together better than we could have imagined!
Was there a moment of your day that stands out the most? We loved seeing our friends and family having a great time – from the bright and happy faces during the ceremony, to tears of emotion during toasts and happy feet on the dance floor. It was particularly great to see how happy our parents were the entire weekend.
What part of your day would you love to relive, over and over again? The reception could have gone on for DAYS… and we would have been happy. We wanted to eat, dance, take pictures, talk to everyone…all night. If we could do it all again, we would. And we’d somehow slow down time this time around.
What does it feel like to finally be married? Fabulous. Things are finally slowing down for us. After the wedding we were busy with work and friend’s weddings. We’ve finally had a few weeks of no planning and just being – which is amazing. Now we are ready to start researching and planning again as we book delayed honeymoon for this summer.
How would you describe your experience with OLAS? Easy. Every step was easy and the OLAS team was incredible to work with. We told Jen (our photographer) we wanted someone who would take charge and get the pictures done quickly and efficiently. That’s exactly what she did. She was also fabulous with last minute changes, unexpected photo ops and new ideas.
