Borderland State Park Engagement Session :: Ashley + Ryan :: with Andrea S.

“Our love story began at work. Although we were in different areas of the building, we had the same friend circle and would go out often after work for a couple drinks and trivia. Our friendship slowly turned into a romance after almost a year of knowing one another, and the rest is history! Our proposal is my absolute favorite story (and I know Ryan likes sharing it as well). He proposed at a lighthouse in one of my favorite beach towns in Massachusetts. Even though everything seemed to be going wrong in Ryan’s mind, I was completely oblivious and was so surprised when he got down on one knee. The moment was so special and was caught on camera (photo and video) by his sisters! Our families were waiting at a nearby restaurant on the water to congratulate us. The day was better than we both had ever imagined.

We have so much in common, which is why we clicked so well as friends, but we are also very different. We bring the best out of one another and keep each other grounded. We’re so excited to start the next chapter of our lives and for all the future memories we will share together!”
