“Hiago and I met in high school during our sophomore year, we did the whole long distance relationship for 4 years during university where he lived across the country! After that, it was a clear sign to both of us that we could conquer life together! What I love about our relationship dynamic is that I can literally tell him anything and he won’t say it to anyone else because he wasn’t listening in the first place and then he’ll joke about it! He finally proposed after 8 years, he took me on a night stroll at a local neighborhood street where each house was decorated with Christmas lights, and when I turned around, I saw his and my family holding up letters spelling out ‘MARRY ME.’ “
