Caitlin + Tye :: A Country Chic Kentucky Wedding at the 1869 Homestead Bed & Breakfast :: with Michael

Caitlin + Tye really wanted their wedding to be comfortable & celebratory, while still maintaining that classically elegant feel.  Throw in the fact that it took place at a bed & breakfast, complete with rustic barn and 55 acres of farmland…and you get country chic (aka. in C’s words: “country style, but classy”).  Love it!  C + T’s wedding definitely delivered all of the above and so much more.  The bride & bridesmaids walked down the aisle rockin’ their best comfy cowboy boots to a ceremony that took place outside under a huge tree next to a fence from the 1800’s.  The decor was made up of predominately neutrals with little accents of teal, + plenty of burlap, wooden signs, and natural elements to boot (sorry we just couldn’t help ourselves!).  😉  Everyone danced the night away in the barn strung with lights to a great country/rock band from Nashville, while drinking their sweet tea vodkas from mason jars, and beers out of their adorably personalized koozies.  What a perfect way to celebrate with all your nearest and dearest!

We flew our uber talented San Francisco photographer, Michael, out to capture all the candid moments & gorgeous views, plus get in on a little southern culture while he was at it.  😉  We are loving the way he used the backdrop of the fields and farmland in the couples and bridal party shots – it made for some seriously epic photos.  There are so many sweet candids as well, which perfectly exemplifies the type of wedding these two love birds wanted: personal, meaningful, and a true celebration.  We’re so honored to have you as part of our OLAS family, Caitlin + Tye!  Thanks for choosing us to be such a special part of your gorgeous day, xoxo.
