Cape Cod Lavender Farm Engagement Session :: Rebecca + Jake :: with Andrea S.

“Rewind all the way back to 2010, when Jake and I first met in high school. It started out as friends and I would drive him to school some mornings. He was younger than me (we were 16 and 17 when we met), so I didn’t give him the time of day at first. Jake kept pursuing me and asking me out on dates.  He was shy but knew how to make me laugh and I would get butterflies when I was with him. I was hesitant at first because I was going off to college the following year, but I knew I was falling for him. After a few months of asking me to be his girlfriend, I finally said yes May 26, 2011. 

Throughout the years, I finished college and became a registered nurse, Jake has developed his business in landscaping, we have two rescue dogs and our first home. It only made sense that after 7 years, he finally popped the question on October 21, 2017! Jake surprised me with a getaway weekend to Florida. We walked down the pier at sunset next to the restaurant we were at for dinner, and got down on one knee and proposed! We are getting married on our 8 year anniversary, May 26, 2019. 

Jake and I have built a life together over the years, and we are both excited to see what the next chapter has in store for us! xoxo”
