Central Park Engagement Session :: Elyssa + Matt :: with Christian B.

“Our story began with an impromptu night out at Brother Jimmy’s watching a Rangers hockey game and Elyssa introducing herself as Esmerelda.  On that night, we spent most of our time in the dimly lit bar, arguing over which crappy beer, PBR or Natty Light, was crappier.  It ended too soon when Matt had to leave to catch the last ferry headed back to Staten Island and little did we know almost two years later we would be taking that same ferry ride together to our first home and that three years later we would be celebrating our engagement at that same bar.

After a nine-month hiatus and then just two months of dating, Matt predicted that we would eventually marry one another. And even though at the time it may have seemed slightly crazy and too early to tell, it seems Matt was right, as we prepare to walk down the aisle.  From Staten Island to Manhattan, to Long Island and now Queens, our story is one that spans over many boroughs, many schedules and many moments of laughter.  We can’t wait to continue this story together with [our loved ones] by our sides.”
