Cherokee Town Club Wedding :: Larissa + Andrew :: with Tyler

Larissa + Andrew’s Cherokee Town and Country Club wedding was the definition of class with all the right personal touches.  A full floral backdrop set the romantic tone for the evening – it couldn’t have been more perfect!  We caught up with Larissa to hear more about the personal touches, and special heirlooms & items, they incorporated into their day…

Tell us about your wedding day!  How did it feel to see everything come together?
“It was an absolute fairytale. All of our vendors were incredible and everything fell into place perfectly. I am from Brazil and my husband is from the South, so our goal was to give our guests a taste of the other’s culture. Half of our menu was Southern and the other half was Brazilian. We also live in New York City so we wanted to incorporate that part of our lives as well. At the end of the night we passed out ‘New York Slices of Pizza” and foam Statue of Liberty crowns to bring it back to our current home. Our vendors loved our vision and really made everything fall into place.”

Did you include any heirlooms or special items in your wedding day?
“My something borrowed was my earrings from my mother and a bracelet from my mother-in-law. That was incredibly special to me since I am so close to both of them and they, along with our fathers, have been shining examples of what a loving marriage should be. I also had an Amaryllis flower in my bouquet for my grandmother (her name is Amaryllis) in attendance.

Tyler [our photographer] was wonderful, we were thankful to have him there on our big day.”

Congratulations, Larissa + Andrew!! xoxo, The OLAS Team
