Corey + Jenny are very dear friends of ours at OLAS, and if there was only one thing we could say about their beautiful wedding, it would be that every instant of it was so perfectly them. They also have one of the cutest “how we met” stories ever – they lived in the same apartment building in San Diego, and one of Corey’s (adorable) puppies slipped away from him and ran not just to, but into, Jenny’s apartment, and the rest was history. They were marred in the beautiful mountains of North Georgia, on a gorgeous little hook of land on Lake Rabun that allowed for a picture perfect (if we do say so ourselves) exit from the ceremony and the reception by boat. They both absolutely love to be outside, so the mountains were a no-brainer for their ceremony. All of the details had significant and personal meaning – such as their first dance song, which is a song they heard the very first night that they went out in Greenville, SC, where they now live as husband and wife, or the sweet handkerchief that Jenny’s bouquet is wrapped in, which was her grandfather’s, monogrammed with his initials that just happened to have been done in blue thread. The details were handmade by the couple themselves or by people they loved – everything from the flowers, to the favors, to the banners at the reception! Before the wedding, Corey and Jenny said they tried to make each decision for the wedding based on things that were meaningful to both of them, and we can confidently say that they pulled this off brilliantly. Corey and Jenny, we absolutely loved being a part of your wedding, and we are so honored and blessed to be able to call you our friends!
