Cumberland Park Engagement Session in Nashville, TN :: Danielle + James :: with Kayla A.

Danielle + James are engaged! As you all know, we LOVE love over here at Once Like A Spark, and these two are wildly in love!! Danielle’s infectious smile and James’ sweet looks of adoration are giving us all the feels.

We loved the way Danielle described her and Jame’s love story “Nashville brought James and I together! I moved to the city to pursue my master’s degree at Vanderbilt. James previously attended Vanderbilt and played football while he was there. He would frequently come back to Nashville to visit old friends and teammates. One night I (reluctantly) went to Broadway with a few friends, and as fate would have it, James was out with his friends too. Our two friend groups ran into each other and found out we had mutual connections. Soon thereafter, we had our first official date at Jeni’s Ice Cream… and I was a nervous wreck the entire time. I wanted him to like me just as much as I liked him. And luckily he did! Two years later, he proposed to me on what would’ve been my parents’ anniversary with our families there to witness the moment (my father passed away a year into our relationship). As we head into the third year of our relationship, I enjoy reflecting on our favorite memories together – whether it’s traveling to different cities, trying new restaurants, or laughing our butts off at comedy shows. I feel very fortunate that I get to marry my best friend.”
