Duluth, GA Engagement Shoot :: Lauren + Tim :: with Alex

Meeting the right person when you have a busy work schedule can seem almost impossible, at least it felt that way for Lauren + Tim. Since they were both so busy they turned to online dating to try and find their perfect match! As Lauren was scrolling through eligible bachelors she came across Tim’s profile and was immediately intrigued. She sent him a message and they began chatting about their likes, dislikes, friends, work, and pastimes. They talked for a couple of weeks and then decided to meet up in person.

Their first date was absolutely perfect and the rest is history! These two sweethearts are so happy to be engaged and they cannot wait to spend the rest of their lives with their best friend! Their session around Duluth was a total blast, and just look at how adorable their dog is!  We love that they chose Duluth for their engagement shoot because that’s where they were the first time they exchanged “I love you’s” and where Tim popped the big question.

When we asked Lauren about their engagement session, she said: “The day of our engagement shoot, it had just rained and was abnormally hot for a fall day. We were sweating in our “fall attire” and I was anxious per usual that they would turn out OK……but those incidents and memories are what made the day special. We made the best of it and had a blast with Alex. He was such a calming, kind person and you could see his passion for photography in everything he did. He was a quiet presence because he wanted some of the pictures to be less staged and we were completely at ease. He spent extra time with us and we are so excited to have him on our wedding day as well!”
Lauren’s #1 Tip for engaged brides is: “Book your vendors as early as possible, don’t cut corners when choosing a photographer (I would much rather have a few less roses then have pictures for the rest of my life that I dislike), and have fun with it!”

Congratulations Lauren + Tim! xoxo, The OLAS Team
