“Austin and I started dating 5 years ago soon after our first date on a random Friday night in South Boston. We connected instantly over our love of the beach, ski trips, and strong family values. Four different cities and five moves later, Austin proposed to me on our first Christmas morning together in our new home, with our dog, Chesney, there to witness it all. I was already tearing up over the proposal when Austin gave me a journal that he wrote in for 30 days straight – one letter to me every day, from the day he bought my ring to when he proposed. The journal was my favorite part of the proposal, I can read it any time and instantly go back to that special time in our lives. When we started planning for our big day, we knew we had to incorporate the beach and the mountains into our wedding. With our wedding in the White Mountains next September, having our engagement pictures at the beach was the perfect compromise!”
