Elaina + Alex’s East Ivy Mansion wedding in Nashville, TN was absolutely perfect!  East Ivy Mansion was the perfect backdrop for this classically romantic wedding.  With an incredible view of Nashville’s downtown skyline, beautifully curated gardens with brick pathways, koi ponds, whimsical flowers… this was absolutely a dream venue for Elaina + Alex to say their I Do’s and one of our favorite Nashville wedding venues!!

We caught up with Elaina to ask her about their best day ever…

Tell us about your wedding day!  How did it feel to see all of your planning come together?
I would describe it as perfect! It felt absolutely surreal and as if I were in a dream that I wish could have lasted 10x longer. Seeing the planning come together was priceless! I had a friend help my day of planner and she absolutely helped pull everything together. It was literally perfect!

What’s the one moment you remember, above all, about your wedding day?
Walking down the aisle and seeing my fiancé standing there was by far the best moment. When I finally stood beside him was all that I needed. I kept having to squeeze his hand to keep him from tearing up. It was literally the best moment of my life thus far.

What did you love most about your photographer?
He was extremely nice and very focused on getting everything that we had asked for. Very attentive and personable.

Did you include any heirlooms or special items in your wedding day?
My sister sewed a piece of jewelry from both my mother and grandmother into the train of my wedding dress. My mother and grandmother are no longer alive so I wanted to include them somehow in the ceremony.
