HAPPY NEW YEAR!! We hope everyone had amazing, restorative holidays and that you are as excited about the new year as we are…we have high hopes that 2014 will be our best yet, and we hope that you do, too! We are starting the year off right by sharing Dina + Shwan’s incredibly luscious, vibrant wedding at the San Diego Botanic Gardens. D + S were married in mid-August, and our San Diego magicmaker photographer, Tracy, created beautiful photos of their gorgeous day. We love so much about this wedding….Dina’s incredible dress, the fact that Shwan wrote a sweet, secret note on the bottom of her wedding shoes, and of course, the location, location, location. The venue was positively dripping with lush greenery and the golden, dappled light that makes our hearts swoon. But perhaps what we love most of all is D + S’s incredible love story that goes back for generations….Dina + Shwan first met, without knowing that their grandfathers had been roommates at college in Cairo, and shared a deep friendship, long before D + S were even born. These two think that their union was fated, and with a story like that, we really have to agree! Dina + Shwan, thank you both so much for including us in your big day and for letting us be a part of your incredible story. We love you guys, and we hope you are having a wonderful first New Year together as a married couple! xoxo
