Meet Jenny + Jeff. J + J are an inspiring and beautiful couple who are planning a May wedding at one of our favorite venues, Holman Ranch in Carmel Valley. Michael, from our San Francisco team, met up with these two to capture some seriously gorgeous, bright, and colorful engagement photos in the quaint city of Capitola. J + J met in 2008 while they were both students at Harvard, and the story starts off kind of like this: a girl walks into a bar. Just kidding, buuuuut really. 🙂 So these two might have met at a bar, but their story turns super romantic quite quickly – 2 months after their first serendipitous meeting, J + J traveled together to Italy, where they realized how perfect they were for each other. In 2011, these two moved to California, and Jeff proposed to Jenny on their 5 year anniversary during a romantic weekend escape to Sea Ranch (so dreamy!). We are beyond excited to shoot their upcoming wedding, and they have some awesome stuff planned. One of our favorite ideas we’ve heard yet is replacing the traditional guestbook with a gratitude jar, where guests will write down things they are grateful for and drop them in a jar. J + J keep their own gratitude jar at home, and we love this idea so much, we might just have to adopt it for ourselves! J + J, it has been so lovely getting to know the two of you, and we absolutely cannot wait to see you again for your big day! xoxo
