Jessica + Gant are not a super traditional couple. When they planned their absolutely gorgeous wedding at the King and Prince on St. Simon’s Island, captured by our awesome Southeast photographer Anna, they had a few really cool ideas that made the event entirely their own. First, their ADORABLE 5 lb Yorkie, Schnitzel (Schnitzel!!) was part of the big day (check out the photos of him below!). They took a different, and really special, approach to the walk down the aisle – J+ G have done a lot of “meeting in the middle” along the journey of their relationship. On their wedding day, Jessica’s sweet dad walked her halfway down the aisle, where they met Gant, and Gant walked her the rest of the way. To Jessica, this walk beautifully symbolizes the support her Dad has for them as they begin their lives together – and how he will be behind them – supporting them – every step of the way. Finally, immediately after their ceremony, J + G offered a champagne toast to their guests to thank them for their love and support. Anna captured J + G’s big day and all of its unique elements beautifully, and took advantage of the gorgeous architectural features of the King and Prince to get some really cool, different shots. Also, can you get over Jessica’s dress?? Beyond stunning, and so unique! We are in love.
