We are SO excited to share with you today Laura + Patrick’s Washington, D.C. wedding, captured by our amazingly talented mid-Atlantic photographer, Kait. Laura + Patrick were married right in the middle of June with an unbelievably beautiful ceremony and reception at the Marine Barracks. The Barracks is such a cool and unique venue, and it holds special meaning for L + P. Laura’s grandfather was the former Commandant of the Marine Corps, and lived at the Marine Barracks while Laura was growing up, so she has many fond memories of running around the field with her cousins, playing dress-up in the very room she got ready in for the wedding, and spending many Christmases there with her family. In addition to the amazing and meaningful venue, we love so much about this wedding – L + P’s first glance is one of our favorite, ever ever ever, and Kait absolutely killed it with the couple’s portraits…especially the ones in the street just as the sun is going down. SO GORGEOUS!! We really love way too much about this wedding for words, so we will let the photos speak for themselves. Laura + Patrick, thank you so much for letting us be part of your absolutely stunning day! xoxo
