We love a great proposal story over here at OLAS, and Sonyo + Daniel’s is just about the sweetest you can find. Here it is, from the bride herself: On September 13, 2013 ( my birthday ) I went to dinner with my girlfriends, thinking Daniel had to work. We went to Loca Luna in Atlanta to have tapas and drinks, then off to The Atlanta Botanical Gardens for after dinner drinks and a beautiful view. When we arrived at the gardens Elizabeth went on incessantly about finding the “most beatiful spot in the park to take pictures”. I went along, as this is not an unusual request of a girl who has a photo journal of all of our activities. I did however decide I needed a drink! As I discussed the wines with the bartender, Elizabeth quickly scouted a guide who eagerly volunteered to escort us to the “most beautiful spot in the park”. Our guide quickly led us through twists and turns further and further into the park until finally a path opened up to the Trustees Garden. Daniel, dressed flawlessly in a navy blue suit stepped out with ring in hand. He kneeled, and took my hand. As his shook, he asked if I would marry him. I said yes.”
After such a sweet engagement in the Trustees Garden, it was only fitting that Sonyo + Daniel would wed in a beautiful garden….and they did just that at the gorgeous Little Gardens in Lawrenceville. Sonyo told us that she wanted her wedding to look romantic, but to be boat loads of fun, and we think you will be able to tell from the photos below, captured by our southeast photographer extraordinaire Paige, that Sonyo struck this balance PERFECTLY! Sonyo + Daniel, it was such an honor to be a part of your lovely day…you two are such a gorgeous and sweet couple, and we are blessed to know you!
