Jessica + Michael’s wedding at Harrington Farm was literally a dream come true! The details and events of the day fit exactly together like puzzle pieces. This was full of love, excitement, and some awesome dance moves that we are so very happy that we were able to capture!
We truly thought this day was wonderful and we recently talked to Jessica to hear what some of their favorite moments and memories are…
Q: Tell us about your wedding! How would you describe the overall vibe/feeling of your day? Anything special that you planned and couldn’t wait to see come together?
A: “Our wedding day was filled with pure joy and love from our closest family and friends. From the catholic mass to the reception, Michael and I felt overwhelmed with love from everyone and for each other. In planning the reception, I tried to create a rustic, fall feel, especially since most of my family is from California where we don’t really get to experience a true fall season. Harrington Farm made that easy. I can’t wait to see all the photos we took outside with all of the trees and gorgeous sunset. I’m excited to see all of the dances – from the reception introductions, the first dance, and parent dances. Plus my maid of honor and one of my bridesmaids came up with the most hilarious, amazing song set to Nsync’s “Bye Bye Bye” that I can’t wait to see in the video.”
Q: Is there a moment that stands out above the rest, now that you’ve been married for a few weeks?
A: “My favorite moment was seeing Michael’s face as I was walking down the aisle. He was tearing up, which he rarely ever does, which obviously made me start to cry.”
Q: What’s your favorite thing that you decided to include or spend money on?
A: “My favorite thing we decided to spend money on was the whole reception venue, Harrington Farm. First of all, from the cocktail hour to the reception, to the overall atmosphere, it was perfect. Everyone who helped the day of, from the planner, the event coordinator and the bridal attendant, they really paid attention to detail and made sure Michael and I were able to taste all of the food we ordered and even packed up to go boxes for us to take back to the hotel. They were true professionals! I also loved creating the “generations of love” family photo table, as a tribute to our parents and grandparents. Family is everything to us, and it was important for us to honor them and represent those that couldn’t be there.”
Q: What did you love most about working with OLAS?
A: “I loved that since OLAS is a national company, Michael and I were able to take our engagement photos in California (where we live), even though our wedding was in Massachusetts. It made it easy to still be able to take engagement photos without having to fly to MA to do it.”
Q: What does it feel like to finally be married?
A: “A lot of people have asked me how it feels to be married, and the best way to describe it is “the same, but different.” Our love and comfortability with one another is the same, but we know that marriage is a whole new level of commitment to one another. Also, still getting used to calling each other “wife” and “husband.” And we have a lot of new appliances we didn’t have before.”
Congratulations Jessica + Michael!! xoxo, The OLAS Team
