Highlights :: Carolyn + Simon's Wedding at Interlaken Inn in Lakeville, CT :: with Shawon

At what point did you feel the most joyful on your wedding day :: After our first dance, the band broke into a really spectacular, very rousing rendition of Hava Nagila. Literally everyone in our reception tent got up off their feet to dance the Hora with us. I looked around the circle and saw everyone who ever mattered in our lives at that moment. And I realized that this is what it was all for – the months of planning and agonizing over table settings and menu options led directly to this moment. It was so we could have this wonderful day with our friends and family. Simon and I would have a lifetime together – today was about the people we loved.

What was your favorite detail from your wedding :: My sister spent months handcrafting Himmeli structures out of brass pipes for us to hang from the roof of the tent. They looked truly incredible!
