What was the most surprising thing about your wedding :: Hurricane Matthew crashed our wedding in a big way. What was planned to be a beautiful outdoor wedding rapidly had to change. We can’t thank our vendors enough for making the seamless transition indoors. And our amazing family and friends braved the hurricane-despite some serious travel pick ups-to share the day with us. Rather than feeling like a “Plan B” (as I had feared). the day ended up being perfect. We felt incredibly surrounded by support and love. Nestled together inside, with the rain pouring down outside, made the day feel cozy and intimate. Now, I can’t imagine it having been any other way.

Describe how you felt right before you walked down the aisle :: The stress of planning the wedding and having to move it indoors at the last minute all melted away in that moment. All I could think about was how I excited I was to marry my best friend. I was overflowing with happiness and excitement, and I could hardly contain my tears of joy. I have never been more sure of anything in my entire life, and I couldn’t wait to start this next adventure with Stu.
