What advice would you give to other brides/ grooms for their wedding :: My uncle gave me a great piece of advice. He said “things don’t go wrong, they just go different than planned” and it’s true! Nothing went wrong at our wedding but thinking that made me think it would be OK if it did!

What is the one moment you want to remember 10 years from now :: Everyone dancing! And Gavin’s grandma lasted until the end of the wedding!

Write a note of thanks to anyone who helped make your day special :: Thank you to our parents, to Hallie’s sister, and to everyone who pitched in with last minute tasks to make it an amazing day. My sister, Charlotte, planned every last detail of the wedding with my mom. Actually, she did a lot more than that! She designed and created each tote bag that our guests receive when they checked in their hotels, she made the place cards for the tables, the signs for the cake and drinks and she designed and made two table signs for each table (64 in total!). They were incredible! Our day of planner, Cayce, was absolutely fantastic! She went wayyyyyy above and beyond at every second — she even helped a guest find her contact on the ground. We had no idea what to do and Cayce made it all happen. Our good family friend, Matt, was an amazing officiant. We both wanted our ceremony to focus on partnership and he really got it.
