What is the one moment from your wedding day you want to remember 10 years from now :: I had always said from day one that I was going to bawl walking down the aisle. I’m a hopeless romantic and the song for my walk (The Piano Guys ‘A Thousand Years’) literally brought tears to my eyes every time I heard it. As the doors opened and I took my steps with my dad at my side, I saw smiling faces and cameras ready to flash. We turned the corner and Michael and I connected eyes and we both got the BIGGEST, happiest grins on our faces. I don’t know how many seconds it took for me to get to him, nor did I count the steps in my head (I’m a professional planner – details are my weakness), but instead our eyes both filled with pure joy. We are goofy, fun people down to our cores, and while I thought I would be a blubbering mess, our connection kept me strong, and that moment in time truly displayed our bond and love we have created over the last 7 years. I will forever remember that as my favorite wedding memory!
What was your favorite detail from your wedding :: As I mentioned, details are my weakness because I obsess over them (who doesn’t love details!!). One theme that I really wanted to come out in our details was ‘Us’ – who we are, where we came from, where we are going – just simply, Us. To do this I made our table numbers be ages of us (Table 1 – Age 1) and included pictures of myself and my groom in a frame together side-by-side. The tables with the younger years definitely had it made because who isn’t cute from age 1-6! It was funny visiting the tables who had the awkward years (ages 11-14) – they saw a side of us that most people never want to show! The pictures created conversation, about who we have become and what will our children look like. I wanted to share ourselves and our lives with those who have loved us throughout the years – after all, they helped shape who we are!
Jacquie + Michael, we are so in love with your amazing wedding photos!! All our Love. xoxo
