At what point did you feel the most joyful on your wedding day :: Two of the most joyful moments the entire day were: a.) Seeing the grin on my dad’s face when he pulled his truck around to pick me up and take me down to the ceremony b.) Seeing the love in Chris’s eyes and smile as I turned down the aisle with my dad in tow. I knew things could not be more perfect as they shared a nod as my dad handed me off to Chris. Of course my dad had to lighten the mood and jokingly refuse to move from between the two of us.
Tell us something interesting about your wedding :: One of my favorite parts of the entire night was the college rivalry chant off. I grew up in Ohio in the heart of Buckeye territory, my entire family is avid Ohio State Buckeye fans OH-IO!! Where as Chris grew up in Georgia as a die hard UGA dawg fan, talk about rivalry when it comes to the SEC and the Big Ten. Chris’s cousin walked up to the band, grabbed a micro phone and with all the token enthusiasm of a college football fan, he started chanting by “Calling the Dawgs”. Now I couldn’t let my family feel left out in the heart of bulldawg country, so I responded by having the band play “Hang on Sloopy” and we all got up to sing at the top of our lungs. Needless to say two families came together with the familiar love of football and their love of us.
Morgan + Chris, we adore your beautiful wedding photos!! Congrats, lovebirds. xoxo
