Vanessa + Michael’s California wedding is truly one of the best!! We asked Vanessa how she met her sweetie and her story is the sweetest :: Mike and I have been together for about 3 years now. We originally met when we were both in high school. Mike played on a baseball team that my brother also played for and my dad was the coach! So, to the team, I was coach Dennis’ daughter or Jason’s younger sister. I used to think Mike was so cute and loved watching him play. One day, after a game, my brother told me that Mike said he likes when I come to the game because he plays better when I’m there (which of course made me want to go to more games!) I later found out that Mike used to tease my brother about asking me out, but he never went through with it. We didn’t go to the same high school and the baseball team split up so Mike and I lost touch for a few years while life took its course. In 2012, Mike found me on Facebook and started messaging me. Eventually, it lead to him asking for my number and soon after we went on our first date! To be honest, from that first date I knew this was going to be something great!! After he proposed, Mike told me he felt the same way on that first date. Ever since we’ve been inseparable!! :: Major swoon!! Marissa, our amazing Cali photographer, did a phenomenal job capturing V + M’s magical day. We are in love.
