Historic Dekalb Courthouse Wedding :: Sheryl + Michael :: with Nikki

Oh, you’re in for a treat today with Sheryl + Michael’s Historic Dekalb Courthouse wedding! We especially love their unique take on the first look – not just having a moment together but cracking the champagne and enjoying a toast before they exchanged their vows… what a fun way to spend some time alone and celebrate! Of course, all of the details were absolutely perfect – minimal, relaxed, and beautiful. Sheryl’s dress was a total stunner – we were swooning over the color and texture! Perfectly complemented by Michael’s sharp, modern style. What we love most is how joyful their guests were – truly enjoying themselves and celebrating this new marriage!

How would you describe the overall vibe/feeling of your day?

I felt the day was (surprisingly!) relaxed. It was fun and joyous.

Was there a moment of your day that stands out the most?

There were so many moments that stand out. One was feeling really anxious as the ceremony music started playing because I didn’t see where my dad was, and feeling 150% calm come over me when he popped out of nowhere. Also, sitting next to Michael eating dinner thinking “everyone said we wouldn’t get to do this!” And of course, walking down the aisle!

What part of your day would you love to relive, over and over again?

The ceremony, mostly because it went by so fast. And spending the entire day with my best friends – I wish we could eat bagels and drink mimosas and get our hair done together every weekend. And the dance floor – dancing, but also watching our friends and family have a great time.

What does it feel like to finally be married?

It feels great to be married! There’s a renewed sense of excitement for the future to officially be family. It’s exciting to get holiday cards in the mail addressed to the Touchtons or to Mr. and Mrs. Touchton.

How would you describe your experience with OLAS?

Our experience was great. The team was professional and responsive, addressed any and all questions we had and even helped us create a timeline for the day that was perfect for us. Day of- we could not have been more thrilled with Nikki and Lindsey. They were professional yet fun, kept things moving but also relaxed. We trusted their creativity!
