Irvington, NY Engagement Session :: Alyssa + Gregory :: with Lauryn

“Greg and Alyssa met by chance in May 2013. As they say, timing truly is everything. Alyssa had just finished her master’s program in New York and was debating whether to stay or move back to Massachusetts. She moved from White Plains, NY, where she lived for graduate school, to Yonkers, NY to live with a new friend. Alyssa tagged along that night with a friend to guest bartend. Greg found a way to talk to her, and believe it or not, had gone to high school with Alyssa’s new roommate. He offered to call his friends so that it would be busy enough for Alyssa to work. The one catch, of course, was that Alyssa would owe him a date. Greg ended up recruiting more than 10 friends, many of whom will be at the wedding. From our very first date, at Mima Vinoteca, in Irvington, NY, we both knew what we found was special. Five years later, we have had lots of laughs and enjoyed many special trips together. Our favorite, of course, was our August 2017 trip to the Finger Lakes region of New York, where we got engaged!”
