Knoxville, TN Wedding at Dara’s Garden :: Kristen + Evan :: With Kayla A

Kristen + Evan met in college when they were both attending East Tennessee State University, and they started dating in 2014. Despite Kristen having to move 8 hours away for school, these two still made it work. Evan said that when he proposed he “didn’t get the chance to put the ring on her finger because she was so excited that she took it out of his hand saying, “yes! yes! yes!”” We are so happy that these two are starting their lives together because they just got MARRIED.

Despite a little rain, Kristen + Evan’s ceremony and reception at Dara’s Garden was absolutely picturesque! We were able to talk to Evan after the wedding to hear more about their special day…

Q: Is there a moment that stands out above the rest?

A: “We have two moments 🙂 Our first look (obviously), and our first dance.”

Q: What did you love most about your photographer?

A: “It helped quite a bit that we had already had one session with Kayla prior to the wedding for engagement photos. Not only is she very good at making us and everyone else feel comfortable, but she is also very efficient, a genuinely nice person, and is also good at working around the rain.”

Q: What did it feel like to finally be married?

A: “It’s a nice feeling to think we’re starting our lives together. It’s also nice to be able to take a deep breath and relax after wedding planning for so long.”
