“We met as children in 2001, but to be honest it was so long ago that we both forget most of the details. Although we do remember that there were thousands of AOL Instant Messages, hundreds of hands of pinochle, dozens of days by the pool, and too-few bike rides to the potato chip factory. We made it official in 2008 and the time since then has flown! Side-by-side we’ve traveled thousands of miles, attended dozens of concerts and sporting events, hosted seven paloozas, and adopted one angelic cat (so far). We took an exciting step in 2016 when we purchased our first home. Together in the porch, we’ve played thousands of hands of pinochle, hundreds of board games, completed dozens of puzzles and had one romantic engagement. At this point, we’ve been connected for more than half of our lives and couldn’t imagine it any other way.”
