Lafayette Square & The DeSoto Wedding in Savannah, GA :: Elizabeth + Micheal :: with Sarah R.

This sweet and laid back couple had the most beautiful wedding! Their inspiration of Pantone’s Color of the Year, Living Coral, and navy blue has us just falling in love. One of our favorite parts of this wedding though is where it all started.. the proposal!

“On May 5th,2018, at the Kentucky Derby in Louisville, Kentucky, and in front of the Barbaro statue, Michael asked me to marry him! That week leading up to our trip, Michael was. so. weird…asking lots of non-Michael questions and worrying about a lot of things that he would not normally worry about! I wondered and worried about all sorts of things about why he was being so odd..but it all made sense after that–he was so nervous his hands were shaking! Needless to say, I ugly cried.”
