What a treat we have for you on the blog today! Samantha + Ryan’s Fall wedding at The Booking House was such a gorgeous affair! Handmade elements, stunning fall blooms, and such a sweet and playful love that these two share. We caught up with Samantha just in time to hear about their favorite parts of the day, what they’re glad they spent money on, and how they’re incorporating elements from their wedding into everyday life as newlyweds…
Is there a moment that stands out above the rest, now that you’ve been married for a few weeks?
I think the best moment of the day was reading our own vows to one another. We don’t usually get super “lovey dovey” however, it was nice to hear such loving and wonderful things.
What’s your favorite thing that you decided to include or spend money on?
I really liked the hand made signs we had done by a local business as well as our cake topper. We weren’t able to have our dog in the wedding so that little piece had him included.
What did you love most about working with OLAS?
Kate was awesome! She was easy going and very patient. We had quite a wedding party and she was nothing but patient and supportive of the chaos.
How, if at all, are you incorporating elements from your wedding into your home or everyday life? Anything special that you’re excited to keep for years to come?
The signs we had made are now hung up around the house. We used the centerpieces for decoration until just a few days ago. Cake is saved until next year.
What does it feel like to finally be married?
We’ve been together for about 5 years, have a house and a dog, so it doesn’t feel any different. We continue to love each other everyday and laugh.
