Massachusetts Engagement Session :: Nicole + Anthony :: with Alyssa W.

“We met while working at Plymouth Community Intermediate School and have been together for over 2 years. Our first 5 dates we walked around Plymouth for hours! A couple of those dates we sat on a certain rock on the jetty and just talked for hours getting to know each other. Anthony came into my life at a time when my grandfather’s health was declining. Anthony jumped right in and helped as if I’d known him for years. (at that time, we had been only dating for a month!) In the two and a half years we have been dating we both have had family struggles. We were both there for each other to support one another the entire time. We also have had a lot of fun in the past two and a half years. We drove to Washington D.C. where we walked all around and saw as much as you could see of the city in 3 short days. We flew to Myrtle Beach and sat by the beach without a care in the world. We drove countless times to Maine to visit family at Nicole’s family’s campground each summer and fall. We have had so much fun traveling around and plan to keep going to more places together! When we are not traveling around we love to binge watch our favorite shows, watch movies, go to the beach, spend as much time with family as we can, conquer mystery room, bake, cook, home projects, and quote movies like crazy.

Anthony proposed on our 2-year anniversary in December 2017 on the Plymouth Jetty. Earlier that day, getting ready to go to dinner, he was asking me about if his jeans.. and that he couldn’t “bend” in them. Little did I know that he would be proposing to me! He wrote me a letter, with an arrow to turn the paper over that lead to a question on the back which was “I have one more question for you”. As I finished reading, I moved the paper, he was down on one knee asking me to marry him! I was so surprised!
Anthony is currently an EMT and works at Quincy College. I (Nicole) am currently in Nursing school at the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston and graduate next May with an RN BSN. I work at a local hospital as a nurse’s aide.
