Massapequa, NY Wedding :: Alessandra + Charlie :: With Kayla A.

Alessandra + Charlie met at the gym where she was working as a spin instructor. After talking for a bit they decided to go out on a date. Alessandra said that “at the end of our first date, we walked on the boardwalk, he sang to me and we kissed in the rain,” what a great way to start a relationship! They recently got married at the gorgeous St. Rose of Lima Church and then continued their celebration at the Riviera at Massapequa, a hidden gem on the great south bay! Their wedding day was full of so many great experiences and memories that will last them a lifetime. We caught up with Alessandra after the wedding to hear more about some of those memories…

Q: Tell us about your wedding!  How would you describe the overall vibe/feeling of your day?

A: “When Charlie and I came out the church doors, there was not a cloud in the sky. The sun was shining so bright and we threw our hands up in the air and kissed each other, surrounded by ALL our friends and family cheering for us. We were promised to each other and I was so fulfilled. I will always look back at that moment, my heart was bursting!”

Q: What did you love most about working with OLAS?

A: “Our photographer Kayla was so wonderful- it didn’t feel like a photography session- it just felt like we were walking around the park, holding hands, playing and laughing! At one point, the sun was shining so bright, we were in a gorgeous wild flower field, I was swinging my dress around in the sun, and Charlie picked me up and spun me around. All of our best friends were laughing with us. I remember thinking “Is this a dream?!””

Q: What does it feel like to finally be married?

A: “Most people I’ve asked “how does it feel to be married”, they respond “the same”. But it is different for us.  It’s a feeling of being one, unlike before, knowing you’ve got a best friend for life and someone who loves you forever, who has chosen to go on the journey of life with you.”

Congratulations Alessandra + Charlie!! xoxo, The OLAS Team
