New Milford, CT Wedding at Candlelight Farms Inn :: Nicole + Christopher :: With Graham

Nicole + Christopher met through mutual friends while they were in college. Within two weeks of meeting each other they were already spending almost every day together. They quickly realized how special their connection was and they made sure to hold on to that! After dating for a couple of years Christopher proposed while they were on the set of One Tree Hill (one of Nicole’s favorite shows!). The proposal was so thoughtful and emotional that it actually ended up on the front page of the paper! What a cool thing to be able to hold on to forever!

Their wedding at Candlelight Farms Inn was absolutely enchanting! We talked to Nicole after the wedding to hear about some of their favorite moments of the day…

Q:  Tell us about your wedding!  How would you describe the overall vibe/feeling of your day?

A: “The morning of the wedding, I remember opening up the curtains downstairs at the bed and breakfast Inn where the wedding was going to be held, and just exhaling. Beautiful weather, gorgeous scenery, and all the people we loved the most. We had hoped for our wedding to look beautiful, but it far surpassed our expectations.” 

Q: Is there a moment that stands out above the rest, now that you’ve been married for a few weeks?

A: “Our two most favorite moments were spending a few minutes at our memorial ladder, remembering our loved ones who we wish were there, and walking outside of the tent alone at one point of the night to just watch our loved ones enjoy themselves, knowing they were there for something special.”

Q: What did you love most about working with OLAS?

A: “Both of our photographers got every shot and more that we had asked, and went above and beyond to set up special shots for us. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day, and married life has been nothing short of a fairytale, either!!”
