Danielle + Andy’s wedding at Pine Knoll Farms was everything a classic, Southern wedding should be – charming and radiant with details for days, even a horse-drawn carriage!

We asked Danielle to share a few of her memories from the day…

What’s the one moment you remember, above all, about your wedding day? What made it feel so special/memorable?

I remember laughing with my dad in the carriage all the way from the barn to the chapel doors! It felt magical but slightly ridiculous to be in a horse-drawn carriage, and then he and I were making jokes to keep from getting emotional at the chapel doors!

What did it feel like to see Andy for the first time on your wedding day?

It was exciting, a little bit of a dream. He was very quiet and steady while I had the giggles!

What did you love most about your photographer?

Kayla was excellent-she had great ideas for photos and took the responsibility off my shoulders of coordinating family pictures and deciding which shots would be next. I have been other weddings where the photographer stood there waiting for the bride to decide which shots to get, and it felt pressured and awkward. Kayla was great at directing and she made me comfortable in front of the camera!
