Portland, Maine Wedding :: Katrina + Rich :: With Graham

Katrina + Rich first met in college when she was a freshman and he was a senior!! Katrina was immediately smitten with Rich because he was a “cool senior guy,” and her friends were already joking about how someday she was going to marry him and be Mrs. Parsons. Fast forward through the next few years and this couple dealt with the constant struggle of a long distance relationship while Katrina transferred to a different university in Maine and Rich was working in New Hampshire. Thanks to the support and encouragement that they both had for each other they were able to make it through those years and come out even stronger!!

This lovely couple finally made it to the finish line of being long distance! They got married at The Fort Preble Bunker at Southern Maine Community College which is “one of the most picturesque points on the Maine coast overlooking Casco Bay.” We caught up with Katrina after the wedding to find out what some of her favorite moments of the extra special day were…

“Our wedding day felt surreal and I woke up with excitement beyond words. Rich and I still can’t believe how amazing and love filled our day was.

All we wanted was our family and friends to share in our excitement and we had the best celebration we could imagine.”

Katrina said they LOVED their photographer, Graham!  She said they particularly loved his “dedication to get a great shot! And his ability to make us feel comfortable and not posed.”
