One thing Ashley + CJ told us when we were first getting to know them was that they wanted their day to have personal touches that brought their friends and family together. We remember loving this in particular about them, and we absolutely ADORE all the ways they pulled it off. Everything about their wedding feels personal; like every decision was made with a careful thoughtfulness about what meaning it would have for them and their loved ones. For starters, they had their ceremony at The Cottage Vineyard & Winery in Cleveland, GA, a beautiful venue that is only a short drive from Ashley’s parent’s house, the reception location! Three of their very close friends sang at the ceremony (one actually officiated as well!), and A’s Mom made the beautiful burlap & doily decorated aisle runner for Ashley to walk down with her Father. Ashley and her Mom spent months collecting the silver used in the reception centerpieces, and they had countless family & friends help them put together the one-of-a-kind mason jar chandelier that served as the centerpiece for the entire reception (y’all, it is a-MAZING). We’re also loving the cigar bar (CJ is an avid cigar enthusiast) + the awesome wedding day gift of a customized whiskey barrel from his bride! Seriously, how cool is that? There are literally 50 more things we could write about (can we talk about that gorgeous car, please?), but we’ll let the pictures do the talking 🙂 Nikki captured the feel of A + CJ’s intimate and personal day so well, and we couldn’t be more excited to share the photos with you all.
