There are just some weddings that we shoot where joy oozes right out of the couple and into their photos, and Jessie and Joey’s wedding is one of them. Honestly, the amount of love and fun and overall good cheer from this precious couple and their family and friends warms our hearts and reminds us again just how much we love our jobs. Joey and Jessie live in New York, but headed cross-country to get married in Portland at McMenamin’s Edgefield. Our incredible Portland photographers, Ashley + Kellen, did an incredible job at shooting this beautiful wedding – we dare you not to smile looking at these gorgeous images. Jessie and Joey met on a blind date, and credit their shared love of noodles, oysters, and desire to scuba dive as the ticket to happily ever after. Check out a few of our (many!) favorite personal details from Jessie + Joey’s wedding – the favor suitcase belonged to Jessie’s grandfather, the centerpieces were designed by her mom, and the wedding arch was made of petunias, which were Joey’s late mother’s favorite flowers. Also, the corks from the centerpieces are from all of the wine that Joey and Jessie drank over the past year – we love it! Thanks so much for inviting us to be a part of your big day, Jessie + Joey. It was such an honor – cheers!
