Happy Friday lovelies! It’s been a rainy start for many of us here in the southeast, but we’ve got just the thing to help turn your Friday back around — a sweet & sunny farm wedding sneak peek! Stephanie & Ed have been together for a few years, but the majority of them have been spent long distance (and when we say long distance, we MEAN long distance – between Ghana and Georgia!!). Though Stephanie’s time in the Peace Corps was admittedly difficult for them, S + E always reference the most wonderful quote when describing that period of time in their lives (and it immediately made us completely fall in love with the both of them): “Distance between two hearts is not an obstacle but rather a beautiful reminder of just how strong true love can be.” Love like that is what weddings are all about folks. S + E’s wedding ceremony and reception were at The Densmore Farm, a stunningly rustic location and the perfect nod to their mutual love of the outdoors. Much of their decor focused on their second love, their love of travel: save the date postcards, an antique globe for a guestbook, hankercheifs made in Ghana as a gift for the guests to use during the ceremony, and that adorable print made for Ed that reads “I love you from here to Ghana” with the names of places that are special to the two of them printed on it. They incorporated so many unique details that truly personalized their wedding, and Tyler (our southeast photographer phenom) captured all of it so beautifully. From the diamond in the ring S’s Dad gave her Mom on their 25th wedding anniversary, now used in her own ring, to the sweet jars of jam made by E’s Mom as favors, their wedding was truly “their own”, in every single way.
