At the conclusion of the internship, interns will receive a $500 stipend, a full individual photo branding session (can be used for headshots, portfolios, social media presence, etc), many real-life work samples for a portfolio, and a letter of recommendation and reference (if appropriate) for future job opportunities

Once Like A Spark Photo + Video is a creative national wedding photo and video collaborative serving multiple major markets nationwide. Our corporate team, based in Athens, GA, is an energetic, innovative, and ambitious group, and we’re looking to expand our team by adding a group of trend-conscious and social media-loving content-creating interns​ for the summer semester!

Marketing interns will begin May 23, and work flexibly for approximately 10-15 hours per week, concluding in early August.  The flexible work schedule will be a mix of remote independent work (when and where you want) and collaborative work. The only in-person requirement will be one weekly in-office team meeting. 

Social media is constantly changing, and we are looking for a creative and agile group of interns to help us showcase our unique value proposition, company culture, brand, and stunning photos and videos to brides and grooms in the wedding-planning process and turn them into clients.  Interns will work alongside our Chief Marketing Officer and other executive-level team members to create fresh, beautiful, and engaging on-brand content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest in a way that increases both brand exposure and conversion rates.  

This internship is the perfect opportunity to gain hands-on experience in an exciting trend-setting industry and will provide opportunities such as:

  • Brainstorming and developing social media marketing content and campaigns that capture attention and convert 
  • Creating social media posting schedules and writing captions for social media posts
  • Tracking and analyzing analytics to gauge the success of campaigns
  • Recognizing industry trends, and translating them into impactful social media marketing campaigns
  • Market research to help identify business opportunities, including survey and data analysis

internet research, competitor and market opportunity analysis

  • Experience collaborating with a rockstar team of interns and executives while also taking ownership of individual projects

An ideal intern will:

  • Be a strong team player who is capable of working independently and proactively
  • Have a finger on the pulse of all things social media and understand how to use this knowledge to create a measurable impact in the company’s marketing efforts 
  • Have a strong understanding of one or many of these platforms: TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube
  • Have a strong sense of on-trend visual aesthetics
  • Have experience in graphics creation, whether it’s Canva, video editing skills, etc. 
  • Exhibit exceptional organizational, communication and writing skills
  • Have the ability to learn what is and is not working and adapt quickly to ensure marketing efforts are impactful in heightening brand awareness and conversion rates
