Summerour Studio Wedding :: Maggie + Matthew :: with Nikki

Maggie + Matthew’s Summerour Studio wedding was absolutely one of our favorite weddings of the year! It feels like we’re getting to spoil the blog with some of our favorite images today – you’re in for a treat! The florals created such a beautiful palette – wine, blush, winter white anemones, and a little greenery to balance it all. And the details just kept going from there… elegant with just a little rustic touch from Summerour’s grounds and just the right amount of glam! Here’s what Maggie has to say about their best day ever…

“The overall theme I was aiming for was ‘industrial glam.’ I LOVE Summerour and its rustic feel, but I also love some romantic and glam touches and I think our stylist absolutely nailed it. One of the floral installations was actually a surprise gift from her (she is a long time family friend of my husband) and I was GIDDY about seeing it the day of. The whole night flew by, I wish I could I have paused time! At one point Matt pulled me aside and told me to take a minute and soak it in because there is not another event in our lives that puts this many of our friends and family in one room, especially when it is to honor our commitment to each other. It was really nice to just stand there for a second, hold my husband’s hand, and soak in all the love and support that was around us.

Our ceremony was really intimate, we wrote our own vows and there truly wasn’t a dry eye in the house. I was hesitant about writing them but it was something my husband really wanted, so I agreed and I am SO GLAD I did.

My wedding coordinator was such a godsend, I knew I wanted someone else to be in charge of the “day of” responsibilities but she truly went above and beyond to make everything fell into place perfectly. She was my go-to for the “who is supposed to handle this” and “where can I buy this” type questions and always had the answer.

OLAS was amazing to work with from the very start, I think my favorite thing was feeling like every person I came into contact with at OLAS was truly excited about our wedding! Also, Nikki kept us laughing and super relaxed throughout the entire day.

It feels AMAZING to be married! Our 5 year dating anniversary was exactly one week after our wedding so we had been together a while before becoming officially official, but I don’t think calling this man my husband will ever not make me excited.”
