The Pavilion on Crystal Lake Wedding in Middletown, CT :: Kathy + Tom :: with Matt H.

Tom and Kathy had been dating 8 years when Tom decided to pop the question during their vacation to Paris. After a year of planning and anticipation for this trip, Tom came down with pneumonia a week before the flight. With their bags packed with clothes, travel books, passports, antibiotics, and a ring, they set off together for the trip of a lifetime. Kathy has loved sunrises and sunsets and thanks to Tom’s thoughtful suggestion (and planning) the two went to bed early after a long day of travel to get up to see the sunrise behind the Eiffel Tower in the morning. Little did Kathy know that a photographer would be there waiting to take pictures of the most amazing moment of their lives. That morning they awoke and walked hand in hand to The Pont de Bir-Hakeim which was lined with lavender, and beautiful iron work. As they watched the sun rise behind the Eiffel Tower Tom asked Kathy to marry him with her grandmother’s engagement ring in hand. Of course she said yes and from that moment on they promised to live a happy and beautiful life together. Starting off their married life with this beautiful wedding is an absolute dream!
