Wind Watch Golf and Country Club New York Wedding :: Cori + Chase :: with Bethany

Cori + Chase’s New York wedding at the Wind Watch Golf and Country Club was PURE JOY!!  Their love and their smiles are absolutely contagious!  It can, sometimes, be difficult to plan a wedding far away from home and these two made it look effortless!  Cori sent us a little note to share about their day and what it was like to have both sides of their families come together for the first time as they started their new adventure as husband and wife…

“Chase and I live in Chase’s hometown in south central Kentucky, but we got married in New York, where I am from. It was a dream come true not only to marry the love of my life, but to also be able to have both sides of our families come together for the first time. It was just so amazing to be able to have the people we care so much about to finally meet each other, and then see them mingling with each other and having a grand old time was the icing on the cake…It was very important to us to make sure that both of our religions and cultures were recognized on our wedding day, so we made sure to incorporate special elements during the ceremony and reception. For the ceremony, we asked my aunt to read a Jewish blessing and his mom led a prayer in honor of his Christian faith. Then during the cocktail hour, there was a southern station with fried chicken, biscuits and gravy, and mac and cheese, along with a bagels and lox station…Overall, it was amazing to see all the planning and details come together and OLAS was extremely helpful when it came time to come up with a day of schedule. Bethany was awesome-not only making sure we got photos with our different family dynamics for the planned family photos, but also throughout the night whenever we wanted a spontaneous memory captured.”
